Grimmy Wednesdays... A place where everyone is 'sketch'... yet you feel like you are the only one that isn't so you become the outcast. It all started out with 3 of my other boys... you know who u are and now I'm hitting grimmy places every 3 times a week. Going out to these places definitely make me aware of my surroundings even now when I go to "normal" places like Starbucks or Firkin. IT"S GREAT!!<br /><br />Here are the places I've gone so far:<br /><br />Jilly's Bar<br />Ceasar Bar<br />Bill's Fish & Chips<br />Newfie's Corner<br />Philospher's Bar & Grill<br />Dimitrie's (and it ain't the dessert place... trust me)<br />Peter's West End Restaurant<br />Coffe Time<br />Five Star Sports Bar<br />Chinese Haircut place on Spadina for $4 dollars (they've got an underground Mah Jong tournament)<br />Frosty Mugz<br /><br />Favourite pick of the month:<br />Chinese Haircut place on Spadina for $4 dollars (they've got an underground Mah Jong tournament)<br /><br />Description: The owner/haircutter guy has not even been in the country for more than 6 months and now he's got his own business. He can't speak english and when he was cutting my dad's hair he was speaking Cantonese to all his friends and started laughing... I'm assuming they were making fun of us "non-Chinese". It's all in good fun... He brought us across the hall where we saw a bunch of people play Mah Jong (an oriental Dominos game). Fully hustlin' an illegal gambling joint... but it's all in good fun. <br /><br />Note to self: Never go there in the middle of the night... I passed by and found out the Mah Jong place was open at 2 am... Ghetto... but it was filled with sketchy people that weren't there for Mah Jong but for something else... one guy in the corridor was druling and another guy asked me "do you belong here?". I said yes, but 5 minutes later I left... it was too sketchy for me...
